1. Recognize the elements of the framework for defining expertise, based on research in education, psychology & social sciences.
2. Identify the elements of their own expertise and that of their colleagues, that move toward defining expertise in their professional specialty
3. Recognize the principles of the framework for developing expertise, how people develop expert practice across professions.
4. Identify how those principles influenced their own expertise development to date.
5. Identify how they can seek out opportunities to exercise and extend those principles further, to continue developing their own expertise and that of their students.
